Each apartment has a unique design and planning, but they all feature: • lovely arched windows that frame enchanting views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. • floors made of typical Tuscan terracotta tiles. • roofs framed with traditional wood beams. • private garden/terrace for dining, other pastimes, or just relaxing. • fully functioning kitchenette with fridge freezer, cooker, oven and everything you need for your self-catering holiday. • private bathroom (with shower or tub/shower, hair-dryer) and separate bath anteroom. • individual safe for your valuables. • satellite colour tv. Heating, air-conditioning and extra cleaning are provided on request on payment of a small extra charge. Linen, running water, electricity and kitchen gas are obviously included and breakfast provisions will be offered, too. Our apartment " La Brocca " is all on the same floor, it is therefore the one that best suits the needs of disabled travelers or parents with small children on pushchairs. In order to preserve the environment for future generations to come, we recycle waste. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments, but many ceramic ashtrays and terracotta jars are provided in the outdoor areas. Rita and Giuliano are glad to share their barbeque grill and mountain-bikes with you. THE APARTMENTS IN DETAIL La Brocca : private patio entrance into sitting room with two comfortable double sofa beds and lovely fully fitted kitchen corner, bathroom with shower and separate bath anteroom. This apartment features arched windows and wooden beam ceilings and has been designed as totally wheelchair friendly. The handmade terracotta tiled floors and its north orientation keep it cool and welcoming in the summer. Sleeps 2-4. La Torre : its position in the highest part of the hayloft makes it extremely charming. It consists of a sitting room with kitchenette, bathroom with tub/shower and detached sink area. The open loft above is a romantic bedroom with skylight, wash-basin and mirror in a lovely vanity table restored by the patient hands of Signora Rita. Picturesque double arched windows and private garden where you can dine outside are other features of this apartment. One double bed, one double divan bed and one arm-chair transformable in a single bed can accommodate up to 5 persons. La Vigna : our largest apartment offers a sitting room with a double sofa bed and kitchen corner, a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, a bathroom with tub/shower. Panoramic arched windows and a generous skylight in the roof bring in more light to the living and dining area. Garden available. Sleeps 4-6. Il Carro : private entrance, garden and outside terrace for the exclusive use of the guests of this apartment. Made up of a sitting room with kitchen corner, bedroom and bathroom with shower and detached sink area. Arched windows and a typical Tuscan fireplace that, besides creating its own special atmosphere, gives our guests the chance to do fireside grilling and to heat their rooms in the traditional way. Sleeps 2-4. La Torre and La Vigna can be joined as one complex and rented together (for a maximum capacity of 10-11 people) if you wish to enjoy your holiday in the Florentine area with friends and relatives. Our delightful hamlet consists of an ancient farmhouse (the owners' residence) and its hayloft, recently remodeled in the typical local architectural style and converted into four lovely holiday apartments with their own distinct private areas. A warm welcome awaits you at Chiantib&bfirenze. Rita and Giuliano, known for being superb hosts, enjoy good food, wine and conversation and, if you wish, they will be pleased to share them with you at any time (they both speak good French and basic English).
